Road Traffic Injuries Research Network at the Aga Khan University 12 th National Health Sciences Research Symposium Injury in the Developing World - from Prevention to Care August 26-28 2008, Karachi , Pakistan The National Health Sciences Research Symposium is an annual event organized by the Aga Khan University, and is one of the most recognized health sciences research and education related events of the country. The theme for this year's symposium is Injury in the Developing World. RTIRN will participate in this event by organizing a workshop, under its initiative of Regional Workshops, utilizing the grant from the World Bank Global Road Safety Facility. The objective of such workshops is to equip local and national researchers with road safety knowledge and sound research skills.
