SECRETARIAT LAUNCHING CEREMONY

On June 16th 2010, the RTIRN and the Entornos Foundation with the collaboration of the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico successfully organized the launching ceremony of the new Secretariat. This event was transmitted by Webex both in English and Spanish (LINK DEL VIDEO, PENDIENTE). The ceremony took place in the “Guillermo Soberón” Auditorium at the National Institute of Public Health. Over 130 people attended the ceremony from different sectors such as Health, Security, Transport, among others. Local authorities that were present included: the State Ministry of Health Dr. Victor Manuel Caballero Solano, the General Director of the Entornos Foundation Dr. Luis I. Solórzano Flores, the General Director of the National Institute of Public Health Dr. Mario Henry Rodriguez, the General Director of Federal Roads and Bridges (CAPUFE) Ing. José Guadalupe Tarcisio Rodríguez, the Chairman of the RTIRN Dr. Adnan Hyder, representing PAHO Dr. Eugênia Maria Silveira Rodrigues. Many others also followed the event online.

During the protocol ceremony, the agreement between the RTIRN and the Entornos Foundation was symbolically signed, having as honorary witnesses Dr. Alfredo Celis and Dr. Mario Henry Rodríguez.
